I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Oregon Department of Geography working with Dr. Amy Lobben. My research interest is in visual contrast in maps and cognition of cartographic representation. My M.S. thesis at Penn State with Dr. Cindy Brewer studied the perception of visual contrast of cartographic feature across map displays.
